2. Beat 50 g butter or margarine (room temperature) to a creamy texture.
3. Add the brownie mix and 100 ml of water to the butter; mix on low until combined.
4. Mix 1 minute more at medium–high speed until batter is smooth.
5. Press down the perforated edges of the baking pan (if present).
6. Fill the pan and bake for about 40 minutes. Brownies are done when the top is shiny, slightly sunk, and the inside remains a little moist. Cool before slicing.
